History
Founded in 1900, Beerschot have a proud history in Belgian football, winning the national title multiple times in the early-to-mid 20th century. The club has experienced significant turbulence — including mergers, dissolutions and reformations — but always maintained an incredibly passionate supporter base.
Their Olympisch Stadion, built for the 1920 Antwerp Olympics, is one of the most historically significant grounds in world football. The Antwerp derby between Beerschot and Royal Antwerp is considered one of Belgium's most intense fixtures.
