Queensland's football club. Brisbane Roar have been one of the A-League's most successful sides, winning three championships including back-to-back titles in 2011 and 2012. Orange and black, loud and proud — the Roar carry the spirit of Queensland football with every match.
Founded in 2005 as Queensland Roar before rebranding to Brisbane Roar in 2009, the club has been a consistent presence in the A-League since its inception. Their finest era came under coach Ange Postecoglou, who transformed the club into the most dominant side in Australian football history.
Under Postecoglou's possession-based philosophy, Brisbane Roar won back-to-back A-League championships in 2011 and 2012, and went on an extraordinary unbeaten run of 36 games that remains a record in Australian football. A third title followed in 2014. Postecoglou went on to manage the Australian national team, Celtic, and Tottenham Hotspur — but his legacy at Brisbane Roar is where it all began.
Orange and black — vibrant, bold, and impossible to miss. Brisbane Roar's home kit is one of the most eye-catching in Australian football, and the bright orange is worn with Queensland pride by the Roar faithful.
Their distinctive colour scheme makes them stand out in any stadium, and the orange of Brisbane Roar has become one of the most recognisable identities in the A-League.
