History
Founded in 1996 for the inaugural Super Rugby season, the Crusaders quickly established themselves as the competition's dominant force. They won their first title in 1998 and have since accumulated 13 Super Rugby championships — more than any other franchise by a significant margin.
Based in Christchurch, New Zealand, the Crusaders showed remarkable resilience following the 2011 Canterbury earthquakes, continuing to perform at the highest level while their city rebuilt around them. Coaches Wayne Smith, Robbie Deans, Todd Blackadder and Scott Robertson have all contributed to a culture of relentless excellence.
Kit History & Colours
