Dublin GAA are the dominant force in modern Gaelic football. Five All-Ireland titles in a row from 2016 to 2020 cemented their status as the greatest team in the sport's history, and The Dubs enjoy one of the most passionate and vocal fanbases in the GAA.

History

Dublin GAA's football history stretches back to the founding of the association in 1884. After periods of dominance in the 1970s under Kevin Heffernan, they entered a new golden era under Jim Gavin from 2013, winning six All-Ireland titles in seven years including an unprecedented five-in-a-row.

The Hill 16 end of Croke Park — known as "The Dubs" end — is one of Gaelic football's most iconic terraces, creating an electric atmosphere for big Dublin home matches. The blue jersey of Dublin is one of the most recognised in GAA.

Kit History & Colours

Dublin wear sky blue — one of the most recognised colours in Gaelic games. The light blue jersey has been part of Dublin's identity for generations and floods Croke Park with colour on All-Ireland final day. The navy blue collar and cuffs give the jersey its distinctive finish.
