FC Juárez — Los Bravos — represent one of Mexico's most unique football cities. Sitting right on the US–Mexico border across from El Paso, Texas, the club draws support from both sides of the frontier and plays in one of Liga MX's most distinctive locations.
History
FC Juárez were founded in 1967 and spent decades in the lower tiers of Mexican football before being refounded and rising through the divisions to reach Liga MX. Their promotion to Mexico's top flight in 2019 was a landmark moment for the city and its football community.
Ciudad Juárez is a border city with a unique cultural identity — part Mexican, part influenced by its proximity to Texas. The club's fanbase reflects this, drawing passionate support from the local community who take enormous pride in having top-flight football in their city.
