Poland's most decorated and most supported club. Legia Warsaw are the giants of Polish football — a club with a military heritage, a passionate ultras culture, and a record of domestic dominance that is unmatched. Green and white, proud and powerful.
Founded in 1916 by soldiers of the Polish Legions, Legia Warsaw have always carried a military identity with pride. Based in the capital, they quickly became the dominant force in Polish football, winning their first league title in 1955 and going on to claim 15 Ekstraklasa championships.
Legia have also made their mark in European football, most notably reaching the semi-finals of the European Cup in 1970. In 2016 they came agonisingly close to the Champions League group stage, defeating Sporting CP before a controversial disqualification. They remain Poland's best-known club internationally and a regular presence in European competition.
Green and white — the colours of Warsaw's most powerful club. Legia's home kit is built around a bold green and white design that has become one of the most recognisable in Eastern European football. The crest, featuring the letter L, is worn with enormous pride.
Their kits have evolved with modern design trends while staying true to the green and white identity that defines the club. Legia shirts are genuinely popular across Poland and beyond.
