History
Founded in 1909, Levante UD have spent significant periods in La Liga and are one of the most recognisable clubs in the Valencia Community. Their finest modern era came in the early 2010s when they competed consistently in La Liga and reached the Copa del Rey final in 2012, losing to Athletic Club.
Levante are known for their passionate, working-class fanbase and their distinctive blue and red identity. The club has faced the challenge of competing in the shadow of Valencia CF in the same city, but has always maintained a strong independent identity and a loyal support base that fills the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia with real atmosphere.
