Malappuram FC
Malappuram FC represents one of India’s most passionate football regions in the Super League Kerala. Launched in 2024 as one of the competition’s founding clubs, MFC plays at Payyanad Stadium in Manjeri and aims to create a professional pathway for players from Malappuram and across Kerala.
A Club for a Football-Mad District
Malappuram FC was formally launched at MSP Ground in 2024. The club became one of the founding members of the Super League Kerala, a new professional competition created to give the state’s football culture a major regional stage.
The club’s purpose extends beyond its first team. Malappuram FC has outlined plans to nurture local talent, develop a strong youth academy and help football become a more realistic professional pathway for young players in the region.
Payyanad Stadium
Malappuram FC plays its home matches at Payyanad Stadium in Manjeri. The ground places the club at the heart of a district where football tournaments, packed crowds and community support have long formed an important part of local sporting culture.
The club’s official supporters’ group, Ultras Malappuram, provides colour and noise at home and away matches. Its support was recognised with the Super League Kerala Best Fan Club Award following the 2025 season.
A First Semi-Final in 2025
Malappuram FC reached the Super League Kerala semi-finals in 2025, securing the young club’s first appearance in the competition’s knockout stage.
Forward John Kennedy finished that campaign as the league’s Golden Boot winner. His goals provided an early individual landmark in Malappuram FC’s developing history and made him a natural figure in the story of the club’s first two seasons.

Orange and Blue
Malappuram FC unveiled an orange home jersey and blue away jersey for the 2026 Super League Kerala season. The combination gave the club a fresh match-day identity for its third campaign.
Earlier Malappuram designs have used different colour balances and patterns. This FanFile covers the team rather than one particular jersey, so check the crest, sponsor, manufacturer label and product code on your own shirt to identify its season and edition.
