History
Founded in 1893 in Portugal's second city, Porto have grown into one of Europe's most respected clubs. They won back-to-back UEFA Champions League titles in 1987 and 2004, with the 2004 triumph under José Mourinho considered one of the great underdog stories in European football.
Domestically dominant, Porto have won over 30 Primeira Liga titles and are considered part of Portugal's "Big Three" alongside Benfica and Sporting CP. Their Estádio do Dragão, opened in 2003, holds over 50,000 fans and is one of the finest grounds in Europe.
Kit History & Colours
Porto are famous for their iconic blue and white vertical stripes, worn since the club's early years. The home kit has remained remarkably consistent — bold blue and white stripes with the famous dragon crest. Their away kits have ranged from all-white to bold single colours over the decades.
The dragon on the badge — Os Dragões — is one of the most recognisable crests in world football, reflecting the city's proud identity.
