History
Founded in 1872, Rangers are one of the founding members of the Scottish Football League and have spent most of their existence at or near the top of Scottish football. Their 55 Scottish top-flight titles is a world record for domestic championships, and the fierce rivalry with Celtic — the Old Firm — is one of world football's most famous derbies.
Financial collapse saw Rangers fall to the fourth tier in 2012, but a remarkable journey back culminated in the 55th title win under Steven Gerrard in 2021 — one of Scottish football's most dramatic and celebrated moments.
Kit History & Colours
Royal blue, white, and red. Rangers' blue shirt is one of the most recognisable in world football — a rich, deep royal blue that has barely changed in over a century. Castore became their kit supplier in 2020 and the partnership has produced some well-regarded releases.
