History
Founded in 2016 as an affiliate of Major League Soccer's San Jose Earthquakes, San Antonio FC quickly established themselves as one of the USL Championship's most competitive sides. Playing at Toyota Field — a purpose-built soccer stadium in the north of the city — SAFC have built one of the best supporter cultures in the USL, with a passionate fanbase that fills the ground and creates an atmosphere that rivals many MLS clubs.
San Antonio FC have been consistent playoff contenders throughout their history and have attracted quality players from across the Americas and Europe. The club's ambition is clear — to eventually reach Major League Soccer and represent one of America's largest cities at the top level of the game.
