History
Founded in 1929 in the Inchicore area of Dublin, St Patrick's Athletic have been a consistent presence in the League of Ireland Premier Division throughout their history. They have won eight league titles and have produced numerous Irish internationals over the decades, with a strong tradition of developing local talent from the south-west Dublin community.
St Pats won their most recent league title in 2021 under manager Tim Clancy, ending a long wait for silverware and sparking enormous celebrations in Inchicore. The club is known for its strong community ties, its passionate and vocal fanbase at Richmond Park, and its commitment to developing young Irish talent through their academy.
