Wrexham AFC

Founded in 1864, Wrexham AFC is the oldest association football club in Wales and one of the oldest in the world. For decades they were a steady force in English football's lower leagues, with a devoted local fanbase and a ground — the Racecourse — that holds genuine historical significance.

The real turning point came when Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney completed their takeover of the club in February 2021 after a fan vote in November 2020. What followed was the Welcome to Wrexham documentary series, a wave of global support, and three back-to-back promotions from the National League to the EFL Championship. It's one of the great modern football stories.

Red and white — proper, classic football colours worn with real pride. Wrexham's kits have always been rooted in traditional red with white accents, and since the Reynolds/McElhenney era they've become genuinely desirable items far beyond north Wales.

Collaborations, limited editions, and a brand that now resonates in Los Angeles as much as it does in Wrexham have made their shirts proper collectibles. The red dragon badge is as recognisable now as badges from clubs ten times their size.
